Honda Shadow VT750 C2 Replacing Exhaust Heat Shield . Does anyone know if/how to replace the heat shield? Had a crash which scraped a lot of the chrome on just the heat shield/yellow accentuated part, wonder if it's possible to replace?
Not entirely wrong. Your C2 is a 2007+ designation for the VT750 line. My 2005 VT750 is a DC. Since both are VT750's, both designations are different from the VT1100 designations. So The C designation is dependent on year, line, and model. There's no such thing as "Spare Time" or "Free Time" or "Down Time." Time is time. However the factory stock shocks that I removed from my chain drive spirit measured about 12.5” or 317mm from center to center of the bushings while no weight was on the shock. The bushing center diameter for both top and bottom bolts is right around 5/8” or 16mm. Just measured em before I posted to confirm. 0. $44.95.
