I have 2 profiles in each game with many drivers (100+) in each and the drivers you can hire with higher levels are always different. Also when you add drivers (with game update or mod), they are totally random in terms of skills.

However there have been reports of drivers returning empty as hired drivers currently seem to prefer the longest possible route available and this may cause there to be no valid return journey's depending on depot locations.

Level 31 to 36 - Ecodriving (Fuel Economy) - leave this for last, this skill has no effect for you when using realistic fuel consumption, and while it still affects hired drivers, it's not significant enough. Work on either long distance or ADR once you have lvl 1 for the rest. You can have all your drivers automatically level up; you don't have to do it manually. You can't buy multiple at once, but you can copy configurations. Under truck manager, if you click on a truck, you can copy the configuration and it will be set up exactly like the one copied. Then all you have to do is purchase it.
