Restart HBO Max. Play a different show or movie and then go back to “House of the Dragon”. Update the HBO Max app. Sign out of HBO Max and restart your device. Try a different device. Restart
Hi! We have been having issues loading HBO and other apps on the fire stick for a long time. Gave up on it for a while and decided to try again- same thing. Very slow, lagging….etc. We have Netflix, Hulu, YouTube TV on our smart TV and haven’t experienced the same problem we’re having with the fire stick. Step 1: Unplug your HDMI cable from both the TV and Apple TV, and plug it back in. If this doesn’t work, try using a new HDMI cable if possible. Step 2: Check your TV menu settings, and make High speed internet (25 Mbps or higher, 50+ Mbps is recommended) All devices must support HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 (your TV, media player, audio/video receiver, cables, adapters, and any other connected devices). If you have the above requirements and the title is available in 4K UHD, Max should automatically play the title in 4K UHD.

I can’t seem to get atmos working with my 2021 Philips android tv and Samsung q995 soundbar. Netflix and Disney plus atmos work with no issue, so it seems to be isolated to the hbo app on android tv. I have connected the soundbar via eARC.

Now, search for the HBO Max channel and select it. 3. Then, take your remote and press the asterisk * button. 4. Now, select Remove channel. 5. Finally, reboot the Roku.
