Symptomsapart from the dash warning light are noticeably dimmer lights in one cluster than the other. Inspection of the contacts in the cluster should show evidence of arcing/ corrosion on the brake light contacts. Never had any issues since making this fix. The Wife says I'm a star, in that I'm quite dim & distant.

I was told Friday evening "it makes a graunch sound" so then went to have a look and succeeded in getting the window stuck near the bottom of its travel.
